It's been awhile since I posted on this thing hasn't it, something I meant to avoid. Regardless, if you somehow managed to find this I applaud you. Any way I don't know what I should exactly do with this, Turn it into a personal blog and talk about my life and status on projects (I'm not actually working on anything right now BTW but I want to) or just talk about stuff I'm interested in. Although I'll just do a little of both knowing me. Geh.

Moviebob Predicts the Wii U?

As many of you may (or may not) know, Nintendo has announced their next home console and successor to the Wii, the Wii U. Basically, it's supposed to be more powerful than the current gen consoles with high-definition graphics and higher- clocked CPUs. What's interesting though is the controller. It's a standard controller but with a 6-inch touch screen embedded with in it, and as always the gamer-internet culture is bitching about it saying it's not as powerful as the theoretical next-gen consoles and the touch screen is a gimmick.

Why am I mentioning this you may ask? Well writer, blogger, and host of The Escapist's The Big Picture did an episode that was posted before the announcement of the Wii U that seems spot on to what the console is and the reaction. Here's the video right here. What's the point? I don't know, it just seems amusing.

PETA, you serious?

Oh PETA, you never fail to make me angry, along with spilling red paint on people that wear fur, euthanizing innocent animal, and the "I would rather go naked than wear fur" campaign (actually take back that last one), you have ripped off many video games such as Frogger, Super Meat Boy, Cooking Mama, and of course, the Mario games. Speaking of which Super Mario 3d Land came out yesterday bringing back the Tanooki Suit. Of course this just angers our favorite animal rights organization so they had to release a flash game over it which you can click to check it out.

As for the game itself, it's basically a ripoff of the flash game Canabalt (shocker). But PETA seriously, GROW THE FUCK UP! You have angered more people than gain their respect. Of course I'm beating a dead horse here, but I just want to share this just to you angered at PETA more.
